On thursday, the 25th of April 2013, there was a partial lunar eclipse (the moon moves into the penumbra of the Earth). I’ve checked whether it is possible to watch it from my area. And yes, it was! Yeah! So I went out that night, expecting some awesome effects, the moon turning into a burning bloody red or a half-page obscuration. But, nothing of this happened. Just a little darkening at the Moon’s outer edge.

Nevertheless, processing some multiple exposures into HDR images made me a little happy again. Seems to be possible to catch some details and caldera structures on the Moon’s surface, just with my tele-zoom kit-lens I haven’t used for several years. Fine.
