Ehe für alle
On 30 June 2017, the German parliament legalized same-sex marriage. Like in many other cities, this long-awaited decision was also celebrated in Cologne, where one of the largest queer communities in Germany lives. I walked through the streets of the city that day, and I saw rainbow flags across the whole city, I witnessed a kiss-in flashmob in front of the city hall, and I was on the largest queer party of that day in the Schaafenstraße. Here are some impressions I collected during that day.
