Last week I've seen Who Am I - No System is Safe (2014, directed by Baran bo Odar, imdb / website). This is a very atypical German movie: no overdrawn insightful drama, no profound love story, and no history documentary about an event from the past 80 years. Instead, you get an exciting thriller until the end with surprising turns. The movie is about a young hacker and his friends and tells their story about their fight against governmental security agencies and a cyber mafia that - invisible to all the others in the real world - rules everything in the digital world. Of course, the movie contains a lot hacker stuff, but presents the plot without losing thrill or getting boring.
In my opinion, the movie has the potential to become as meaningful as 23 (1998, directed by Hans-Christian Schmid, imdb).
